Roast Goose

016I am a fan of homey foods. As I pointed out in my hunting post on Tuesday, I was raised on family dinners. Goose was a winter staple. Roasting it in the crock pot is my favorite way to make goose now. Serve it over some creamy cauliflower mash. Oh what a great meal!

Crock Pot Roast Goose

  • 3 lbs Goose Breast
  • 1 cup bone broth (click the link, I make my own)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Let’s Make it Happen: Put it all in a crock pot for a few hours on high. Let cool a little. Shred and serve over mash. So simple, so good!
